உறைந்த (உறை) பனி, hoar-forst, ice. உறைந்த (உறை) மழை, snow. உறைவிடம், place, residence. உறைவு, v. n. abiding, coagulation. உறையுள், living, residing; 2. abode, house; 3. dormitory, துயிலுமிடம்; 4. town, village. ஊர்; 5. acon, age, யுகம். பேயுறைந்தகாடு, a jungle haunted by demons. வௌவாலுறைந்த வீடு, a house frequented by bats.
