நெருடு - Nerudu
(com. நெரடு), III. v. t. rub between the fingers, நிமிண்டு; 2. feel, grope, தடவு; 3. twist broken threads together, முறுக்கு; 4. (prov.) deceive, cheat, வஞ்சி.
நெருடிப்பார்க்க, to try the quality of a cloth or the smoothness of a paper etc. by feeling. நெருடு, v. n. & s. rubbing, feeling, twisting; 2. a cloth in which many joinings of broken thread appear; 3. knotty or abstruse as a passage which is obscure or difficult in construction 4. indis- tinctness in writing; 5. guile, deceit, வஞ்சகம். நெருட்டுக்கருத்து, (see நெருடு 3.) abstruse idea.
நெரடு - neratu
III. v. i. be difficult hard, வருத்தமாகு; v. t. same as நெருடு.
நெரடு, v. n. that which is difficult to be read. நெரடிப்பார்க்க, to try paddy etc. rubbing and grabbling it.
