பதிவு - Pathivu
v. n. impression, அழுந்துகை; 2. depression, தாழ்வு; 3. lurking, lying in ambush, பதுக்கம்; 4. submission, தாழ்மை; 5. registration; 6. engrossment of the mind in an object or pursuit, ஊன்றுகை; 7. lowness of price, விலைத் தணிவு.
பதிவிடை, concealment; 2. an ambush, an ambuscade. பதிவிடையாய்ப் போய்விட, to go away in a mist, to steal away. பதிவிடைவைக்க, --பண்ண, to lay snarer or wait for one. பதிவுசெய்ய, to record, to register. பதிவுநிலம், low-land. பதிவுவைக்க, to enter in an account.
