வேகம் - Vegam
s. velocity, swiftness, nimbleness, தீவிரம்; 2. anger, wrath, சினம்; 3. impetuosity, heat, ardour, உக்கிரம்.
வேகக் குதிரை, a swift horse. வேகி, வேகமுள்ளவன், one who is agile, quick or nimble. மனோ வேகம், swiftness of thoughts. வாயு வேகமாய், as swift as the wind. வேக வதி, a river near Conjeeveram; 2. the Vaigai river near Madura.
