கவி - Kavi
II. v. t. cover or overspread (as a cloud or a tree), மூடு; 2. surround, invest, வளை; v. i. bend in or over, வளை; 2. be intent upon a business, be eager, விருப்பமாயிரு.
மேகங்கள் மலைச்சிகரத்தைக் கவிந்து கொண்டன, the clouds have covered the peak of the hill. கூரை கவிவாய் இருக்கிறது, the roof is too much depressed. கவிந்து, (கவிஞ்சு) கேட்க, to bid eagerly for a thing. கவிதல், கவிவு, கவிகை, v. n. bending, being concave. கவிகை, s. liberality; an umbrella; good and evil.
விளக்கு - Vilakku

வித்து - Viththu
