(heathen usage) Roman Catholics. வேதக் கொடியோன், Dronachariar as the Veda-bannered. வேதசாஸ்திரம், the four Vedas and six Shastras collectively; 2. (Chr. us.) theology. வேத சாஸ்திரி, one learned in the Vedas; 2. (Chr. us.) a divine or theologian. வேசாட்சி, (R. C. us.) a martyr. வேத நாயகன், the Deity as lord of the Vedas. வேத நூல், a religious system. வேத பாரகர், persons well versed in the Vedas, Brahmans; 2.
