பாகம் - Paakam
s. a portion, share, பங்கு; 2. half, moiety, பாதி; 3. a fathom, நாலு முழம்; 4. the arm, புஜம்; 5. side (right or left) புறம்; 6. alms, charity, பிச்சை.
வலப்பாகம், இடப்-, the right and left hand or side. பாகம் அளக்க, to measure by fathoms. பாகப்படுத்த, பாகம்பண்ண, -ஆக்க, - பகிர, to divide into shares; 2. to cook. வைத்திய பாகம், that portion which is given to the physician out of the medicine made by his direction.
குருடு -
s. blindness, கண் தெரியாமை; 2 dimness, opacity, காந்தியில்லாமை, 3. what is unpolished, rough, விளக்க மற்றது.
குருடன், (fem. குருடி, neut. குருடு) a blind person. குருட்டடி, a blind hit. குருட்டாட்டமாய்ப் பேச, to speak foolishly. குருட்டீ, a gad-fly. குருட்டுக்கண், a blind eye. குருட்டுக்கல், a dim gem. குருட்டுத்தனம், குருட்டாட்டம், blindness. குருட்டுநியாயம், erroneous reasoning, perverted judgment. குருட்டுப்பக்கம், the wrong side. குருட்டுப்பத்தி, superstition, blind faith. குருட்டு வைத்தியன், an ignorant physician. பிறவிக் குருடன், one born blind.
