தடு - Thadu
VI v. t. hinder, stop, forbid, தடை செய்; 2. arrest by authority, witchcraft etc., 3. check, prevent, restrain, அடக்கு; 4. make a partition wall to a room or any other place; 5. forbid, as an ill omen; 6. block up, dam, அடை.

மேகபடலம், மேகப்படலம், venereal sores; 2. accumulation of clouds. படலம் படலமாய்ப் பெயர்க்க, to peel off in laminated scales from a wall, floor etc.
