உதயம் -
s. the rising of the sun, moon or stars, உதித்தல்; 2. the time of rising, உதிக்குங்காலம்; 3. origin, birth, பிறப்பு; 4. appearance, becoming visible, தோன்றுகை, தோற்றம்.
உதயகாலம், --காலை, the time of sunrise, early morning, உதயவேளை. உதயகிரி, the Eastern mountain where the sun is supposed to rise. உதயதாரகை, the morning star, சுக்கி- ரன், வெள்ளி, (Venus). உதயத்திலே, உதயத்துக்கு, at sun-rise. உதயலக்கினம், the zodiacal sign rising at the time of birth. உதயன், the sun. உதயாஸ்தமன பரியந்தம், from sun-rise to sun-set. சந்திரோதயம், நிலவுதயம், the rising of the moon. வெள்ளிஉதயம், சுக்ரோதயம், the rising of Venus or of any star.
இலக்கினம் - ilakkinam
லக்கினம், s. the rising of the zodiacal sign above the horizon which is calculated for the horoscope, ராசிகளின் உதயம்; 2. hour fixed for auspicious ceremonies.
சுலக்கினம், auspicious time. இலக்கினப் பத்திரிகை, document fixing the auspicious time for marriages.
ஏட்சி - etci
s. (எழுச்சி) rising of a heavenly body, உதயம்; 2. (ஏண்), stability, firmness, ஸ்திரம்.
