சித்தி - Sithi
s. success, attainment, prosperity, வாய்த்தல்; 2. heavenly bliss, beatitude, மோட்சம்; 3. supernatural powers obtained by devotion, தபோ பலம்; 4. firmness, durability, திடம், (as in காயசித்தி, firmness of body); 5. soap, சவுக்காரம்; 6. strychnine tree, எட்டிமரம்; 7. right of cultivating the land.
காரியம் சித்தித்தது, the thing proved a success. பொல்லாப்பு உனக்குச் சித்திக்கும், an evil will befall you. சித்தியடைய, to succeed; 2. to attain salvation; 3. to die (used with reference; to the death of an ascetic).
தெரி - Theri
II. v. i. be seen or perceived, தோன்று; 2. be known, be clear and plain, விளங்கு. Note: used only in neuter with the dative of person; the thing known stands in the nominative case and the person known in the accusative case (as in இந்த வழி உனக்குத் தெரியுமா, do you know this way? என்னை உனக்குத் தெரியுமா, do you know me?).
ஒரு கப்பல் தெரிகிறது, a ship appears. எனக்குத் தெரியாது, it is not known to me, I know it not. இந்த வேலையைச் செய்யத் தெரியுமோ, do you know how to do this work? தெரிதர, to appear; 2. to know. தெரிநிலைவினை, declarative verb containing a characteristic of tense (opp. to குறிப்பு வினை). தெரிந்தவன், a man who knows. தெரியச்சொல்ல, to say clearly. தெரியப்படுத்த, to explain, to make known. தெரியாத்தனம், simplicity, ignorance. கண்தெரியாதவன், a blind man. தெரிதல், v. n. being visible, appearance; 2. investigation, comprehension. தெரியாமை, neg. v. n. ignorance, invisibility. தெரியிழை, a woman wearing choice ornaments. தெரிவு, v. n. choosing etc.
காரியம் -
s. thing, business, matter, affair, கருமம்; 2. effect, result பயன்; 3. purpose, design, விஷயம்.
அது உனக்குக் காரியமில்லை, that is not expedient to you, you have nothing to do with it. காரியகர்த்தா, an efficient agent. காரியகுரு, a guru that seeks his own interest. காரியசித்தி, காரியம்பலித்தல், success in an undertaking. காரியஸ்தன், காரியக்காரன், காரியதுரந் தரன், an agent, an attorney, a commissioner, a person clever in business; a steward. காரியதரிசி, secretary, manager. காரியத்தாழ்ச்சி வராமல்பார்க்க, to see that there is no failure. காரியத்துக்குவர, to be expedient or profitable, to be prosperous. காரியநிர்வாகி, a manager, காரியபாகம், the state of affairs, காரியப்பட, to be effected. காரியப்படுத்த, to effect, accomplish, transact. காரியப் பொறுப்பு, responsibility of management. காரியமாகச் செய்ய, to do a thing well. காரியமாய்ப் பேச, to speak with a motive. காரியமாய்ப் போக, to go on business. காரியமாயிருக்க, to be busy. காரியமுடிக்க, to accomplish a design. காரியம்பார்க்க, to do business. காரியாகாரியம், the different circumstances. காரியானுமானம், (in logic) a posteriori reasoning, inference from effect to cause (see காரணானுமானம்). அகாரியத்தைச் செய்ய, to do a disservice. காரியாலயம், an office (காரியம்+ஆலயம்).
