உயர் - Uyar
உயரு, II. v. i. rise, grow high, வளரு; 2. rise above, மேலேறு; 3. be great, eminent exalted. மேன்மையுறு.
உயர்ச்சி, உயர்த்தி, உயர்பு, உயர்ப்பு, உயர்வு, v. ns. சம்பள உயர்வு, increase of salary. உயர்தர உத்தியோகஸ்தன், a high official. தாழ்மையே உயர்வுக்கு வழி, humility leads to elevation. உயர, adv.
