கிழி - Kizhi
II. v. i. be rent or torn; go in pieces, separate, பிய்; 2. be defeated, disappointed, தோல்; 3. perish, அழி.
அவர் கிழிந்தார், he was totally defeated or disappointed. கிழிந்துபோக, to be rent or torn, to go in pieces. காரியம் கிழிந்துபோயிற்று, the affair is come to nothing. கிழிவு, கிழியல், கிழிசல், v. n. tearing, any thing torn or tattered.
கங்கு -
s. a limit, border,
எல்லை; 2. a bank, ridge,
வரம்பு; 3. a kite,
பருந்து; 4. the bottom of a palmyra leaf stem attached to the tree; 5. dam,
anicut; 6. cinder, glowing coal; 7. shred, துண்டு.
துணி கங்குகங்காய்க் கிழிந்தது, the colth is torn in shreds. கங்கு கரையில்லாத சனம், an immense crowd, countless host. கங்கு கரையில்லாத பேச்சு, unrestrained, unlimited talk. கங்கு மட்டை, the bottom of a palmyra leaf stalk embracing the tree.
