செலுத்து - Seluththu
III. v. t. (caus. of செல்), cause to go, to proceed, நடத்து; 2. discharge an arrow, etc. விடு; 3. drive, propel, ஓட்டு; 4. pay (as debts, tax, etc.); 5. fulfil (a vow, promise, duty or command), execute, நிறைவேற்று; 6. circulate (as coin); 7. pass authoritatively, execute, administer (as justice, medicine, food etc.); 8. despatch, cause a person or thing to reach the destination, commonly through difficulties.
செலுத்தவேண்டிய மரியாதை, due respect. செலுத்திப்போட, செலுத்துவிக்க, to pay a promised sum. கோபம் செலுத்த, to give vent to anger. அதிகாரஞ் செலுத்த, to administer government. உள்ளே செலுத்த, to administer medicine by force, to insert, to thrust in. கவனஞ் செலுத்த, to pay attention. மனஞ் செலுத்த, to direct the mind to an object.
