பாக்கல் - pakkal
பாக்கல்லு, s. stone-slabs for a floor, பாவுகல்.
பாவல் - paval
s. spar of a dhony, the top of which is attached to the border of the sail in order to keep it to the wind; 2. wooden sandals, பாதகுறடு; 3. v. n. of பாவு.
மச்சு - maccu
s. boarded ceiling in the gable of a room etc., மஞ்சு; 2. a wainscotceiling, பாவுபலகை; 3. fault, குற்றம்.
மச்சுப்பாவ, -ப்போட, to lay rafters or beams, to make a wooden ceiling. மச்சு வீடு, a house with a wainscotceiling or with boarded gableends; a house with a tiled roof (opp. to குச்சுவீடு, a thatched house).
