பாக்கியம் - Paakkiyam
s. happiness, prosperity, fortune, செல்வம்; 2. destiny, fate, allotment, அதிஷ்டம்; 3. any of the eight superhuman powers ascribed to Siva etc, சித்தி.
பாக்கியன், பாக்கியவான், பாக்கியவந் தன், பாக்கியசாலி, (fem. பாக்கியவதி) a happy prosperous or wealthy person. பாக்கியவீனம், misfortune, ill-luck, unhappiness. பாக்கியானுகூலம், the attainment of riches.
குணம் - Kunnam
s. quality, attribute or property in general, பண்பு; 2. excellence, attribute (of a deity), இலட்சணம்; 3. dispositon, nature, temper, தன்மை; 4. good disposition of the mind or body, probity, சீர்மை; 5. wholesomeness, healthfulness, சுகம்; 6. bowstring, வின்னாண்; 7. thread, நூல்; 8. a water-pot, குடம்; 9. colour, நிறம்.
அவன் குணம் பேதலித்திருக்கிறது, (பேதித்திருக்கிறது) he is changed for the worse. அதிலும் இது குணம், this is better than that. குணத்தோடே கேள், hear me with a right spirit and patience. குண குணிப்பெயர்கள், abstract noun and subjective noun, subjects with attributes as செந்தாமரை (தாமரை = subj. or குணி, செம் = attribute or குணம்.) குணக்குன்று, --நிதி, a person of noble character, a virtuous man; 2. யோசனை - Yosanai
