மிகு -
II. (& IV. poet.) v. i. exceed, surpass, increase, be abundant, அதிகரி; 2. remain, be superfluous.
மிக, மிகவும், very much, abundantly. மிகல், மிகுதல், v. n. increasing, becoming great. மிகன்மக்கள், the great (நீதிநெறி). மிகு, adj. great. மிகுந்த, adj. part. much, great. மிகுந்திருக்க, (contr. மீந்திருக்க) to be too much or in excess, to remain. மிகை, v. n. & s. abundance; 2. sorrow, affliction; 3. fault, error; 4. trouble. மிக்க, adj. part. overmuch, superior. மிக்கு, v. n. greatness, superiority. மிக்கோர், men to knowledge, superior men.
தோஷம் - tosam
தோடம், s. fault, defect, blemish, குற்றம்; 2. offence, heinous crime, பாவம்; 3. disorders of the humours of the body often fatal, சன்னி; 4. typhus fever, ஓர்சுரம்.
தோஷம்பிறந்தது, the signs that forbode death have appeared. தோஷக்காய்ச்சல், a malignant fever. தோஷங்கொள்ள, to be in a torpid state. தோஷத்திரியம், vitiation of the 3 humours of the body; 2. any combination of three defects. தோஷபரிகாரம், remedying a fault. கிருஷ்ணதோஷம், typhus fever. சலதோஷம், cold. பக்ஷிதோஷம், (பட்சிதோஷம்), an emaciating disease, of children. முத்தோஷம், the three houmours of the body, wind, bile and phlegm, வாத, பித்த, சிலேட்டுமம்; 2. the three defects in composition, மிகைபடக்கூறல், குன்றக்கூறல் & மாறுகொள்ளக்கூறல், (redundancy, saying too little & inconsistency).
