கால் - Kaal
(காலு) I. v. t. vomit, eject from the mouth; 2. shoot forth as rays; 3. v. i. flow out; issue as blood from a vein. "நிலவுகாலு நெடுங்குடை மன்னவன்" (அரி.பு.)
உதயம் -
s. the rising of the sun, moon or stars, உதித்தல்; 2. the time of rising, உதிக்குங்காலம்; 3. origin, birth, பிறப்பு; 4. appearance, becoming visible, தோன்றுகை, தோற்றம்.
உதயகாலம், --காலை, the time of sunrise, early morning, உதயவேளை. உதயகிரி, the Eastern mountain where the sun is supposed to rise. உதயதாரகை, the morning star, சுக்கி- ரன், வெள்ளி, (Venus). உதயத்திலே, உதயத்துக்கு, at sun-rise. உதயலக்கினம், the zodiacal sign rising at the time of birth. உதயன், the sun. உதயாஸ்தமன பரியந்தம், from sun-rise to sun-set. சந்திரோதயம், நிலவுதயம், the rising of the moon. வெள்ளிஉதயம், சுக்ரோதயம், the rising of Venus or of any star.
நிலவு - nilavu
நிலாவு, III. v. i. shine, பிரகாசி; 2. exist, be in use, வழங்கு; 3. spread, extend, pervade, பரவு.
உண்ணிலாவிய, (உள்+நிலாவிய) துயரம், grief which overwhelms the heart. நிலவுமரபினையுடையது, it has the credit of usage.
