s. enjoyment, pleasure, இன் பம்; 2. sensual delight, sexual enjoyment; 3. prosperity, wealth, செல்வம்; 4. produce of corn in a field, fruitfulness, விளைவு; 5. experience, அனு போகம்; 6. body of snake.
அஷ்டபோகம், eight species of enjoyments:- viz. 1. பெண், woman; 2. clothing, ஆடை; 3. Jewels, அணி கலன்; 4. food, போசனம்; 5. betel, தாம்பூலம்; 6. perfumes, பரிமளம்; 7. songs, பாட்டு; 8. sleeping on flowers, bed of flowers, பூவமளி. ஒரு (இரண்டு) போகம், one crop (two crops) in a year. போகஸ்திரி, a courtezan of Swerga; 2. a whore, a prostitute. போகநஷ்டி, abatement of tax on land when there is no water for a second crop. போகபதி, a lord, a master, a king, அதிபதி. போகபந்தம், worldly gratificationsas ensnaring the soul. போகபூமி, Swerga; 2. a fruitful field; 3. a fancied part of the central continent where the fruit of good deeds of former births is enjoyed. போகபோக்கியம், prosperity. போகம்பண்ண, to copulate, போகிக்க. போகவதி, a fancied city in the nether world; 2. a prosperous happy female. போகவாஞ்சை, -விச்சை, sensual lust, desire of enjoyment. போகாங்கம், the Bhutas and other attendants of Siva, as contributing to his enjoyment.
