ஈட்டி - Iitti

ஈட்டிப் பிடங்கு, the part of a lance to which the steel is fixed. ஈட்டிமுனை, the point of a spear. ஈட்டியால் குத்த, to bayonet. ஈட்டியின் அலகு, the head of a spear.
பிடங்கு - pitangku
s. the butt-end of a tool; 2. the back of a blade or weapon; 3. a gun stock.
உலக்கைப் பிடங்கு, the butt-end of a pestle or pounder. துப்பாக்கிப் பிடங்கு, the butt-end of a musket. நாழிப்பிடங்கு, the bottom of a cornmeasure.
