பாத்திரம் - Paathiram

களம் - Kalam
s. place, open field, இடம்; 2. a threshing floor, நெற்களம்; 3. battle-field, போர்க்களம்; 4. barren or brackish soil, களர்நிலம்; 5. shallow shelf of rocks under water, sand bank; 6. court, theatre, சபை; 7. mind, மனம்.

பாகம் - Paakam
s. a portion, share, பங்கு; 2. half, moiety, பாதி; 3. a fathom, நாலு முழம்; 4. the arm, புஜம்; 5. side (right or left) புறம்; 6. alms, charity, பிச்சை.
வலப்பாகம், இடப்-, the right and left hand or side. பாகம் அளக்க, to measure by fathoms. பாகப்படுத்த, பாகம்பண்ண, -ஆக்க, - பகிர, to divide into shares; 2. to cook. வைத்திய பாகம், that portion which is given to the physician out of the medicine made by his direction.
