சாறு - Saaru
s. juice of plants of fruits, sap oozing out of trees; 2. broth, pepper broth, மிளகு நீர், 3. toddy, கள்; 4. bunch, of fruits; 5. small dam of mud with bamboo splits fixed on it across a channel to catch fish.
சாறு காய்ச்ச, --வைக்க, to make broth. சாறு பிழிய, to press out juice; 2. to oppress. சாறெடுக்க, to extract, the essence of a drug. சாற்றமுது, pepper-water. சாற்று வாயன், a driveller. சாற்றுவாயூற்ற, to dribble in the mouth.
கசக்கு - Kasakku
III. v. t. rub with the hands, தேய்; 2. squash, squeeze, பிசை; 3. wash softly, scour, கழுவு; 4. harass, hag, நெருக்கு.
மனதைக் கசக்கிப் போட்டான், he has wounded my feelings. கண்ணைக் கசக்க, to rub the eyes as one who has just awoke. கசக்கிப் பிழிய, to wash and squeeze out (as cloth); 2. to squash and squeeze out (as leaves). கசக்கு, v. n. squeezing, languor.
