விதை - Vithai
s. seed of plants; 2. greatness, பெருமை; 3. knowledge, அறிவு; 4. intellect, புத்தி.
விதைகட்ட, to lay up corn for seed. விதைக்குவிட, to let a plant (or fruit) run to seed. விதைபோட, -விதைக்க, to sow seed. விதைப்பாடு, the quantity of corn to sow a field. விதையெடுக்க, to gather the seeds of plants. விதை வகைகள், விதை வித்துகள், different kinds of seeds. விதைவழி, the propagation by seed.
துகள் - Thugal
s. dust, தூசி, 2. fault, குற்றம்; 3. pollen, பராகம்.
துகள்தீர் பெருஞ்செல்வம், wealth not acquired by foul means. துகள்பறக்க, to fly as dust.
வஸ்து - Vasthu
s. (pl. வஸ்துக்கள், வஸ்துகள்) a thing, a substance, a creature, பொருள்; 2. the Being, God; 3. (in cant) spirituous liquors, anything intoxicating.
உப்பு நல்ல வஸ்து, salt is a good thing. பராபரவஸ்து, God, the Supreme Being. ஏகவஸ்து, the one Being, God. வஸ்து லக்ஷணம், -லட்சணம், the propperties of the Supreme Being which are five as per Agamas, viz. சத்து, reality; சித்து, spirit; ஆனந்தம், bliss; 4. நித்தியம், eternity; and பரிபூர்ணம் all pervading.
