ஆதரவு - Aatharavu
ஆதரணை, s. support, protection, patronage, உதவி; 2. desire, love, kindness, அன்பு; 3. consolation, தேற்றரவு; 4. a prop, buttress, ஆதாரம்; 5. title deed, instrument, பத்திரம்.
ஒருவனுக்கு ஆதரவாயிருக்க, to protect or defend one, to be a comfort to one. இது அதற்கு ஆதரவாயிருக்கிறது; this props or supports that. ஆதரவற்றவன், a distitute person. ஆதரவு சொல்ல, -கூற, -இயம்ப, to console. வீட்டாதரவு, the title deed of the house. ஆதரவுக்குட்பட்ட தேசம், a protectorate.
