இன்மை - Inmai
s. (இல்) nothingness, destitution, இல்லாமை; 2. poverty, வறுமை; 3. (logic) absolute negation (of four kinds முன்னின்மை, பின்னின்மை, ஒன்றினிலொன்றின்மை, என்றுமின்மை) அபாவம்.
அபாவம் - apavam
s. (அ. priv.) non-existence, இல்லாமை; 2. annihilation, நிர்மூலம். வாஸ்தவரூபமானதும், அபாவரூபமான தும், positive and negative.
தவக்கம் - tavakkam
s. (தவங்கு) want, penury, scarcity, இல்லாமை; 2. hindrance, impediment, தடை; 3. anxiety, solicitude, சஞ்சலம்.
எனக்குப் பணத் தவக்கமாயிருக்கிறது. I have no money. தண்ணீர் தவக்கத்தினாலே பயிர் ஏற வில்லை, the crops do not thrive for want of water. தவக்கப்பட, to be delayed. தவக்கமாய்ப்போக, to grow scarce, to be in want, to be hindered. தவக்கம் பண்ண, to cause delay.
