சந்தை - Santhai

சந்தை ஏறுகிறது, the market is filling up. சந்தை ஏறினதில்லை, there has been no fair. சந்தை கலைந்தது, the fair is over, the crowd dispersed from the market. சந்தை இரைச்சல், confused uproar, bustle as in a fair. சந்தைகூட, to assemble as in a market place. சந்தைக்கூட்டம், a huge crowd as in a fair, the crowd of people in a market place. சந்தைமுதல், market fees collected from the traders in a fair. சந்தைவெளி, an open place for a merket. சந்தைவைக்க, to lead recitation of a text for the disciples to follow in chorus.
ஆவேசம் -
s. spectre, ghost,
ஆவி; 2. the entrance of a demon into a person for the purpose of uttering oracles,
சன்னதம்; 3. the fury or
madness of a possessed person; 4. the grimaces of a person in ecstasy, religious frenzy, மருள்.
ஆவேசம் ஏறுகிறது, --வருகிறது, the paroxysm of religious frenzy comes upon a person. There are வீராவேசம், கோபாவேசம், உக்கிராவேசம், and such other fine combinations to denote excessive வீரம் கோபம் உக்கிரம். ஆவேச வணக்கக்காரர், animists. ஆவேசமுண்டுபண்ணும் வார்த்தை, inspiring words.
நெடி -
s. the pungent odour from chillies etc, when parched; 2. a kind of cricket, சிள்வண்டு.
எனக்கு நெடி ஏறுகிறது, I am suffocated with pungent odour.
