தீர்க்கம் - Thiirkkam

தீர்க்க சதுரம், a parallelogram. தீர்க்கசந்தி, (Gr.) a kind of combination of Sanskrit words by which 2 similar vowels long or short coalesce into one long vowel. தீர்க்க சுமங்கலி, a woman blessed with long enjoyment of the marriage state (used in congratulation). தீர்க்கதண்டம், prostration at full length. தீர்க்கதரிசனம், (Chr. us.) prophecy. தீர்க்கதரிசி, a prophet (fem. தீர்க்கதரி சனி). தீர்க்க நித்திரை, long sleep; 2. ஒரு கவையாய் வந்தேன், I am come on a certain errand or business. அது கவையில்லை, it is no matter, it is not necessary. அது உனக்குக் கவையென்ன, அதைத் தொட்டு உனக்குக் கவையென்ன, what is that to you? எனக்குக் கவையுண்டு, it concerns me, I have business, it is necessary. கவைக்கொம்பு, a forked branch. கவைத்தடி, a forked stick. கவை நா, a snake (as having a forked tongue). கவையடி, கவைக்குளம்பு, cloven feet. கவையாயிருக்க, to be busy or occupied.
