காந்தம் - Kaantham

காந்தம் இரும்பை வலித்துப் பிடிக்கிறது, (இழுக்கிறது), the magnet attracts iron. காந்தவிளக்கு, electric light; any brilliant light as gaslight, electric light etc. காந்தவூசி, magnetic needle. கற்காந்தம், a kind of load-stone.
