குடல் - Kudal
குடர், s. entrails, bowels, guts, intestines; 2. the fungus or pithy matter in the hollow of gourds, in the body of trees etc.
குடல் அதிருகிறது, -குமுறுகிறது, - பற்றுகிறது, the bowels tremble. குடலண்டம், குடல்வாயு, hernia. Also குடலிறக்கம் & குடல்வாதம். குடலேற்றம், convulsion, spasm of the bowels, derangements of the intestines. குடலைப்பிடுங்க, to draw out the entrails; to retch, to feel nausea. குடல்காய, to starve. குடல்சவ்வு, the caul, the omentum. குடல்புரள, to feel nausea. குடல்வாதம், see குடலண்டம். கல்லுக்குடல், கற்குடல், costiveness. சிறுகுடல், மணிக்குடல், the small intestines. பெருங்குடல், இரைக்குடல்; the ventricle, stomach, the large intestines. மலக்குடல், the great gut, rectum.
மலம் - Malam
s. excretion of the body in general, especially the foeces or excrement; 2. dirt, filth, அழுக்கு; 3. dregs, sediment, வண்டல்; 4. subtle matter inherent in the soul (Sidh.); 5. sin, பாவம்.
மும்மலம், the three evil passions of the soul ஆணவம், மாயை and காமியம் (self-importance, delusion and lust). மலக்கட்டு, -ப்பற்று, -பந்தம், costiveness, constipation of the bowels. மலக் குடல், the great gut, rectum. மலசலாதி, excrements and urine. மலசாலாதிக்கிருக்க, to go to stool, to ease oneself. மலசுத்தி, evacuation by stool. மலத்துவாரம், the fundament, anus. மலபந்தம், union of the soul with மலம். மலப்பாண்டம், the unclean vessel of our human body. மலப்புழு, -க்கிருமி, insects in the excrements. மலவாதை, மலோபாதை, urgency to stool. மலம் இளகியிருக்க, to be lax in the bowels. மலம் இருக, to be costive. மலாசயம், மலப்பை, மலவாகி.
இரை - Irai
s. food, prey, a bait for fish etc, உணவு; 2. sound, roar as of a current of water, ஒலி; 3. intestinal worm; நாக்குப்பூச்சி.
அக்கினிக்கு இரையாக்க, to destroy by fire. இரைகொடுக்க, -போட, to feed cattle, fowls etc. இரைகொள்ளி, the craw or crop of birds; 2. a glutton. இரைக்குடல், இரைப்பை, stomach. இரைமீட்க, to chew the cud, அசை போட. இரையாக, to become a prey to, to be devoured. இரையெடுக்க, to pick up food to chew the cud.
