கூசு -
III. v. i. be shy, bashful, நாணு; 2. be timid, daunted, அஞ்சு; 3. be weak, tender, (as teeth set on edge or the eye etc.); 4. be ticklish not bearing titillation; 5. be routed as an army.
கண் கூசுகிறது, the sight is grown weak; 2. the eye is dazzled; 3. it is for his bow (collo.) குன்றெறிந்தோன், Skanda. மணற்குன்று, a sand-hill, a sand bank.
