கல்லு -
கல், vulg. கெல்லு, III v. t. dig out little by little, கிண்டு; 2. eat and spread like a cancer, அரி; 3. wash out, erode, as flowing water.
மலைகெல்லி எலிபிடிக்கிறான், he excavates a mountain to catch a rat; (an expression used when a man accomplishes an easy object after arduous labour.) கல்லல், v. n. digging, sounding of alaram, tumult, disturbance.
கெல்லு - kellu

எனக்கு வயிற்றைக் கெல்லுகிறது, I feel an irritation in the stomach. கெல்லி யெடுக்க, to grub up, to dig out. கெல்லுக்கம்பு, a stick for grubbing up the earth.
