யாசகம் - Yaasakam
s. begging, mendicancy, இரப்பு.
யாசகம்பண்ண, to beg alms, to practise begging. யாசகன், யாசகக்காரன், a beggar, a mendicant.
கவர் - Kavar
s. a bifurcated branch, கப்புக்கவடு; 2. prong of a fork trident etc. சூலத் தின் கவர்; 3. deception, வஞ்சகம்; 4. white clay for marking the forehead, திருமண்கட்டி.
கப்பும் கவருமான மரம், a tree with forked branches. கவர்க்கால், branch channel, கிளை வாய்க்கால்; 2. forked prop. கவர்க்குளம்பு, a cloven foot. கவர்க்கொம்பு, a forked branch. கவர்க்கோல், a forked staff. கவர்நெறி, கவர்வழி, fork in a road. கவர்பட, to be forked as a road, to be ambiguous, as language; கவர்படு மொழி, an ambiguity.
நெருடு - Nerudu
(com. நெரடு), III. v. t. rub between the fingers, நிமிண்டு; 2. feel, grope, தடவு; 3. twist broken threads together, முறுக்கு; 4. (prov.) deceive, cheat, வஞ்சி.
நெருடிப்பார்க்க, to try the quality of a cloth or the smoothness of a paper etc. by feeling. நெருடு, v. n. & s. rubbing, feeling, twisting; 2. a cloth in which many joinings of broken thread appear; 3. knotty or abstruse as a passage which is obscure or difficult in construction 4. indis- tinctness in writing; 5. guile, deceit, வஞ்சகம். நெருட்டுக்கருத்து, (see நெருடு 3.) abstruse idea.
