மானியம் - Maaniyam
s. honour, respect, சங்கை; 2. lands held on free tenure.
மானியக்காரன், one who holds a Manium. அர்த்தமானியம், a field for which half the tax is paid. காணிமானியம், hereditary fields of the inhabitants subject to no tax. குடிமக்கள் மானியம், land in free tenure given to washermen, barbers etc. கோவில் மானியம், free lands belonging to a pagoda. சருவமானியம், a field exempt from all tax.
அற்பம் - Arpam
s. (அல்பம்) smallness, சிறுமை; 2. a trifle inferiority, இழிவு; 3. dog, நாய்.
அற்பக்காரியம், a small insignificant matter, a trifle. அற்பசங்கை, அற்பாசமனம், passing urine. அற்பசொற்பம், insignificant thing (colloq.) அற்பாயுசு, short life. அற்பப் புத்தி, little sense, folly, mean disposition. அற்பமாய் எண்ண, to despise, slight. அற்பழுக்கில்லாத மனசு, a heart void of guile. அற்பன், a mean worthless man. காற்று - Kaatru
s. a breeze, wind, வாயு; 2. ghost, evil spirit, ஆவேசம்; 3. breath, சுவாசம்.
