மயக்கம் - Mayakkam
மயக்கு, s. (மயங்கு) confusion or destruction of mind, dulness, mental delusion, perplexity, fainting, swoon, உன்மத்தம்; 2. lethargy, sleepiness, sensual bewilderment, சோம்பு; 3. confusion in nature -- as in the blending of sexes among animals or vegetables; 4. (in gram.) coalescence of letters, சையோகம்.
மயக்கம் எடுக்க, --ஆயிருக்க, to be confused or intoxicated to faint, to swoon. மயக்கம்பூண, மயக்குற, to be overcome by intoxication, to be frenzied.
சோம்பல் - Soompal
v. n. laziness, slowness, apathy, மந்தம்; 2. drowsiness, சோம்பு; 3. weeping, distress; 4. small-pox from its effects.
சோம்பலாளி, a sluggard, சோம்பற் காரன். சோம்பல் முறிக்க, to yawn, to strecth. சோம்பற்றனம், idleness. சோம்பற்றழும்பு, pits from small-pox.
