s. what is public, common, usual or universal, சாதாரணம்; 2. the genus as distinguished from the species, பொதுவினம்; 3. a public assembly, சபை.

அரள் - aral
அரளு, I. v. i. grow terrified, become alarmed, be amazed, பிரமி.

நே - ne
II. v. i. (inf. நேக) toil, உழை; 2. become well pulverized, நெகு.
அவனுக்கு மெத்தநேந்தேன், I took a great deal of pain for him. நேந்ததெல்லாம் அவத்தமாய்ப் போயிற்று, all the hard labour was in vain. நேக அரை, grind it well.
