சந்துசந்தாய்த் துண்டிக்க, to quarter, to dissect by joints. சந்துக்கட்டு, crisis; 2. period, duration. சந்துசொல்ல, to act as a mediator; to mediate. சந்துபதிய, --பொருத்த, to fill up a cleft. சந்துபார்க்க, to watch an opportunity. சந்துபெயர்ந்தது, the hip is out of joint. சந்துபொந்து, a lurking place; 2. a nook, a corner. சந்துபொந்தாய்க்கிடக்கிற ஊர், a town where the streets are irregular. சந்துபொருந்திப்போயிற்று, the clefts are closed. சந்துபோக, to go on an errand. சந்துமந்து, a narrow street; confusion. சந்துமுட்டு, irregular menstruation. சந்துமுந்து, a corner; 2. a time of confusion. சந்துவாதம், the hip-gout. சந்துவாய், a gap, a cleft. சந்துவாயை இசைக்க, to close a cleft. சந்துவீடு, the house to which a road leads between two or more houses, the corner house.

சதுஷ்கம், s. a quadrangle; a square, சதுரம்; 2. a spot where four roads meet, a quadrivium, நாற்சந்தி; 3. (சவுக்கம்) a square cloth used as a turban or a handkerchief; 4. a lane, a narrow street, சதுக்கப்பூதம், a demon living at the junction of four roads.
