எண்ணம் - Ennnnam

"பொது எண்ணம்," "Idea" (Plato). எண்ணக்காரன், a soothsayer. எண்ணங் குலைந்தவன், one that is defeated in his expectation, one that has lost his reputation. எண்ணங் கொள்ள, to entertain hope, opinion or view. எண்ணமிட, to think, consider. எண்ணம் பார்க்க, to look for signs. தான் (நான்) என்கிற எண்ணம், presumption, self-conceit.
காடு - Kaadu

இலக்கு - Illakku
லக்கு, s. aim, scope, நோக்கம், 2. a mark to shoot at, குறி; 3. distinguishing mark, அடையாளம்; 4. rival in games, எதிரி; 5. favourable opportunity, உசிதசமயம்.
இலக்கறிந்து நடக்க, to go prudently. இலக்கிலே பட்டது, it has hit the mark. இலக்குக் கிட்டாது, it dose not answer the purpose. இலக்குத்தப்பி நடக்க, to live unwisely; to consider not what you are about. இலக்குத் தப்பிப்போயிற்று, the mark is missed. இலக்குப் பார்க்க, to await an opportunity. இலக்குப்பார்க்க, -ப்பிடிக்க, to aim at, to take aim. இலக்குவைக்க, to prefix an aim.
