பாய்ச்சு - Paayssu
III. v. t. (caus. of பாய்) cause to flow, irrigate, நீர்பாய்ச்சு, 2. put in, thrust in, குத்து; 3. infuse, inject as poison into weapons or into bites.
கத்தியினாலே பாய்ச்ச, to run one through with a sword. மரத்தைப் பாய்ச்சிப்போட, to pass the end of a beam through a wall. பொய்க்குழி பாய்ச்சு, to set a pitfall. பாய்ச்சல், v. n. bounding, leaping; 2. jump, leap; 3. butting; 4. a stream; 5. watering, irrigation; 6. (prov.) rude, uncivil treatment; 7. (fig.) disobedience. நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான ஊர், a well-watered village. கடாக்களைப் பாய்ச்சலுக்கு விட, to make rams butt together. பாச்சற் காளை, a bull that butts.
