பாக்கு -
s. areca-nut, துவர்க்காய்.
பாக்குச்சீவ, -வெட்ட, to cut areca-nut in slices. பாக்குச்சீவல், areca-nut parings. பாக்குத் தம்பலம், chewed betel as spit out. பாக்குப்பிளவு, a slice of areca-nut. பாக்குப்போட, to take betel. பாக்குவெட்டி, a nut-cracker, in arecanut cutter. பாக்குவெற்றிலை, பாக்கிலை, areca-nut and betel-leaf, தாம்பூலம். பாக்கு (தாம்பூலம்) வைக்க, to invite to a wedding by sending areca nuts and betel. அலகுப் (களிப்) பாக்கு, arec-nut cut in pieces and boiled tender.
