விளை -
(முளை), II. v. i. grow, grow ripe (as corn in the field), செழி; 2. be made, be bred, be formed or produced (as metals, salt etc.) உண்டாகு; 3. originate, rise, கிளம்பு.
உப்பு விளைகிற அளம், a salt pan. பொன் விளைகிற மலை, a hill containing veins of gold. இதிலிருந்து பாவம், (பொல்லாப்பு etc.) விளைகிறது, from this originates sin (evil etc.) இது பீடை விளையுங்காலம், this is a time when misfortunes break out. விளைச்சல், v. n. ripe grain in the field; 2. growing, ripening grain. விளைநிலம், a fertile plot of ground or field. விளைந்த பயிர், corn ripe in the field. விளைய வைக்க, to expose the indigo plant to ferment; 2. to kindle a fire for burning a corpse. விளையும் பயிர், the nature of crop. "விளையும் பயிர் முளையிலே தெரியும்", "the child is the father of the the nature of the harvest is known man", by the young shoot. விளைவு, v. n. produce of the field, outturn.
பீடை -
s. pain, affliction, suffering misery, துன்பம்; 2. inauspiciousness as of a season; 3. adj. unlucky; inauspicious.
பீடாபஞ்சகம், danger of affliction from five principal things as ascertained by astrology, ஐவகைப் பீடை. பீடாபயம், danger of disease known from astrological calculation. பீடைபிடிக்க, to be seized with sorrow etc. பீடைமாதம், the unlucky month மார் கழி. (December.) தேகபீடை, bodily suffering. மனப்பீடை, mental sorrow.
