பாதகம் - Paathakam
s. (poet. பதகம்) a crime, a grievous sin, துரோகம்.
பாதகஞ்செய்ய, to commit sin. பாதகன், (fem. பாதகி) a criminal, a sinner. பஞ்ச பாதகம், பஞ்ச மகா பாதகம், the five worst sins:- கொலை, murder; 2. காமம், lust; 3. கள்ளுண்ணல், drinking toddy; 4. களவு, theft; 5.குருநிந்தை, abuse of the guru. அதனால் பாதகம் இல்லை, it does not matter, it will not injure or be harmful.
படு - Padu
adj. intense, excessive, heinous, மகா.
படுகளவு, gross fraud. படுகாயம், a mortal wound. படுகிழவன், a very old man. படுபாவி, an atrociously wicked person. படுமூச்சு, an inextricable knot. படுவசை, a great reproach, scandal or disgrace.
