குடுமி -
s. a lock or tuft of hair left on the head of man, சிகை; 2. the summit of a hill, மலையுச்சி; 3. a pivot of a door used as a hinge, சுழியாணி; 4. the tail or handle of a plough; 5. snakecatcher; 6. victory, success; 7. determination, resolve, முடிபு; 8. a crown, diadem, கிரீடம்.
குடுமிப்பருந்து, the crested kite. குடுமிமுடிய, to tie up the hair in a knot. குடுமிவாங்க, to shave off the tuft of hair; to deprive one of office, power etc. உச்சிக்குடுமி, a tuft on the crown of head. கன்னக்குடுமி, side-lock. கீழ்க்குடுமி, the lower pivot. பின்குடுமி, a lock on the back of the head. முன்குடுமி, the lock that is nearer the forehead; the fore-lock. மேற்குடுமி, the upper pivot.
