நெருடு - Nerudu
(com. நெரடு), III. v. t. rub between the fingers, நிமிண்டு; 2. feel, grope, தடவு; 3. twist broken threads together, முறுக்கு; 4. (prov.) deceive, cheat, வஞ்சி.
நெருடிப்பார்க்க, to try the quality of a cloth or the smoothness of a paper etc. by feeling. நெருடு, v. n. & s. rubbing, feeling, twisting; 2. a cloth in which many joinings of broken thread appear; 3. knotty or abstruse as a passage which is obscure or difficult in construction 4. indis- tinctness in writing; 5. guile, deceit, வஞ்சகம். நெருட்டுக்கருத்து, (see நெருடு 3.) abstruse idea.
முறுக்கு - Murukku

முறுக்காணி, screw for a violin, lute, etc. முறுக்காற்ற, to loosen or slacken what is twisted too light. முறுக்குப் பண்ண, to be saucy, haughty. முறுக்கு வாங்க, -உடைக்க, to untwist, to untwine. முறுக்கேற்ற, to twist. கொடிமுறுக்கு, over-twisted rope or twine.
