சோகை - Sookai
சோவை, s. a kind of jaundice, swelling of the body, impotence; 2. an impotent person, அப்பிராணி.
சோகை மூஞ்சி, a turgid face. சோகையன், சோகை பிடித்தவன், a person with jaundice. பித்தசோகை, jaundice caused by bile.
தூங்கு - Thuungu
III. v. i. sleep, be drowsy, உறங்கு; 2. hang, be suspended, தொங்கு; 3. tarry, delay, loiter, தாமதி; 4. move the body from side to side as an elephant, அசைவாடு.
தூங்கினவன் கன்று சேங்கன்று, the calf of the sleeper is a bull-calf (having been changed while he slept). தூங்கல், v. n. shaking, dancing, hanging, sleeping, etc. தூங்கணி, a jewel formed of hanging globules of gold and gems. தூங்காமை, neg. v. n. watchfulness, vigilance. தூங்காவிளக்கு, a lamp burning day and night. தூங்கிசைச் செப்பல், a kind of melody of the metre called வெண்பா. தூங்கிவிழ, to nod through drowsiness. தூங்குமஞ்சம், a hanging cot a swinging bed. தூங்குமூஞ்சி, தூங்கலாண்டி, a sleepy fellow.
மூஞ்சி -
s. the face of a beast and (in contempt) of a man.
மூஞ்சியிலே காறி யுமிழ்ந்தான், he hawked and spat in his face. மூஞ்சியைக் காட்ட, to pout. கோணல் (கோண) மூஞ்சி, grimace.
