தள்ளு - Thallu
s. pushing, rejecting, a shove, தாக்கு; 2. deduction, discount, கழிவு; 3. discharge, abandonment, கைவிடல்.
தள்ளுண்ண, தள்ளுப்பட, to be rejected, to be dismissed. தள்ளுண்டவன், an outcaste, a reprobate. தள்ளுப்புள்ளு, தள்ளுமெள்ளு, (vulg.) a scuffle. தள்ளுமட்டம், a young elephant when unable to walk, which is pushed forward by the old ones.
மெள்ள -
adv. (com. for மெல்ல) gently, softly.
