வெ வெ , adj. (வெம்மை), hot, warm, severe, cruel. Used in combination only with euphonical ங், ஞ், ந், ம்; before vowels வ் is inserted as (வெவ்வுரை). It is also the radical of several words (as வெக்கை, வெட்டை, வெப்பம், வெயில் etc,). Compare வே.
